The 2022 Winter Season will commence early April and conclude mid/late August. Exact dates will be provided to members once confirmed by ESFA. Our Miniroos program is for U8’s (born 2014) through to U12’s (born 2010), both boys, girls and mixed programs. Our program includes both training once per week and matches on Saturdays (mixed/boys teams) and Sundays (girls only teams). Easts FC plays in the Eastern Suburbs Football Association (ESFA) competition and under the Football Federation Australia (FFA) directive of Miniroos, providing young football players with the structure and platform to learn the basics of football. Our dedicated professional coaches deliver our coaching development program, which has been formulated with Football NSW and delivers the FFA’s curriculum, “the Skills Acquisition Phase”. 

Easts FC runs two programs for Miniroos.

1. Development Select Program designed for aspiring, talented juniors seeking to advance their skills and technique – teams by trial only

2. The Development Program designed for all players that seek to play football, learn and enjoy – football for all (below)

The 2022 program includes the following benefits:

• Training programme as prescribed by the FFA

• A qualified Easts FC coach for the one training session per week. Game Day Coaches are available at an additional cost and are subject to coach availability. If you would like more information please email gm@eastsfc.com.au.

• FFA licensed coaches supplied for training

• FFA membership

• Full insurance

• Training once per week as a mixed team (several days available)

Winter 2022 Registration Price: 

• U8-U11 & G8-G11- $460 (Active Kids Vouchers accepted)
• U12 & G12 - $475 (Active Kids Vouchers accepted)

Match and Training Information:

Registered players play against other ESFA Clubs once per weekend and will train once per week with Easts FC. The cost of training coach is included in the registration fees and if the whole team agrees, and if we have available coaches, we can also organise a game-day coach for an extra fee. Otherwise, we encourage parents to get involved with the teams each weekend by acting as the game day coach. The Club provides training and support to those parents who are keen to get involved. Our home ground is Queens Park and games are played at different locations across the Eastern Suburbs within a 25-minute drive from Queens Park.

Training Options

When registering into your package, you will select your preferred training slot for your age group. All training sessions go for one hour. The 2022 training options are:

• U8 Mixed - 4pm Tues at Moore Park Grass or 4:30pm Thurs at Waverley Synthetic 
• U9 Mixed - 4pm Tues at Moore Park Grass or 4:30pm Thurs at Waverley Synthetic
• U10 Mixed - 5pm Tues at Moore Park Synthetic or 5:30pm Thurs at Waverley Synthetic 
• U11 Mixed - 6pm Tues at Moore Park Synthetic or 5:30pm Thurs at Waverley Synthetic 
• U12 Mixed - 6pm Tues at Moore Park Synthetic or 5:30pm Thurs at Waverley Synthetic 
• Girls G8, G9, G10 & G11 - 4:30pm Wed at Waverley Synthetic 
• Girls G12 - 5:30pm Thur at Waverley Synthetic 

Match times:

• U8 Mixed – KO Saturday 9am

• U9 Mixed – KO Saturday 10am

• U10 Mixed – KO Saturday 11am

• U11 Mixed – KO Saturday 12pm

• U12 Mixed – KO Saturday 1pm

• Girls G8 & G9 - KO Sunday 9:00am/11:30am

• Girls G10 & G11 – KO Sunday 10:00am/12:30pm

• Girls G12 – KO Sunday 11:00am/1:30pm

Uniform

All players registered in the Easts FC Miniroo's teams must wear official Easts FC kit, this can be purchased through our online store below. Players are required to purchase their relevant '2022 Players Kit' which includes a blue shirt (home), white shirt (away), red shorts and blue socks. Numbers are not required on shirts. Players are required to wear shin pads and football boots for training and games.
